    More About Oxin

The facts about our fast, affordable root growth, plant growth solution.
    • Oxin promotes cell division in cambium which increases growth in the stems and roots of plants. Mainly dicots and gymnosperms.
    • Oxin is key in propagation and a cloning of plant sections. Oxin promotes cell division in the tissue culture. Plant tissue culture is a collection of techniques used to maintain or grow plant cells, tissues or organs under sterile conditions on a nutrient culture medium of known composition. It is widely used to produce clones of a plant in a method known as micropropagation.
    • Oxin, when applied to the flowers of certain species, has the ability to initiate development of fruit without pollination. The process produces a sterile fruit that lacks seeds. This means that the pollination results in a production of berries that are completely seedless which is known as Parthanocarpy.
    • Oxin has the ability to create Flower intitation in crops that are hard to flower. A single application of Oxin can make the plant flower at just about any time of the year. (Pineapples)
    • Oxin can be used to stimulate seed germination. This is advantageous in crops like potatoes.
    • Oxin is used to prevent premature leaf fall. Growers of citrus, apples and pears use large amounts of Oxin for the prevention of premature fall of fruits. From a fourth to half of the entire crop may be lost because the fruit falls before it has matured or developed good colour.
    How Oxin Works?

Oxin works by enhancing natural growth processes in plants. The high auxin-to-cytokinin ratio encourages deeper root development, ensuring plants absorb water and nutrients efficiently. This results in stronger, healthier crops with greater resilience to drought, heat stress, transplant shock, and disease pressures. By integrating Oxin into a crop management program, farmers can expect higher yields, improved crop quality, and better returns on investment. Oxin also contains Sulphur, a critical component, that is crucial in the photosynthesis process for the production of Chlorophyll.

Kenyan farmers face unpredictable weather patterns, declining soil fertility, and increased pest and disease pressure. Oxin provides a sustainable solution by reinforcing plant health from the ground up, ensuring that crops can thrive under diverse agroecological conditions.

    Composition of Oxin;

    Nitrogen (N) - 35g/ Litre

    Potassium (K) - 10g/ Litre

    How Oxin is Applied?
    CROP DOSAGE APPLICATION
    Seedlings 500ml / 100 Litres of water
    100ml/ 20 Litres of water
Drench seedlings tray directly after drilling the seed to
stimulate uniform germination and root formation.
    Transplants 500ml / 100 Litres of water
    100ml/ 20 Litres of water
Dip the roots of the seedling into the solution before transplant
or alternatively drench the transplants just prior or after
transplanting. This will decrease mortality & stimulate root growth.
Seed Coating 500ml / 10 Kg of water
    50ml/ 1 Kg of water
Apply directly to the seed and mix thoroughly to form a
uniform coating on each seed. Will increase
germination and stimulate initial root formation.
    Vegetables 750ml - 1500ml / 100 Litres of water
    150ml - 300ml/ 20 Litres of water
Apply as full cover spray during the first 4 weeks
of establishment at 7 to 14 day intervals.
This will stimulate growth and decrease mortality.
    Potatoes 200ml / 100 Litres of water
    4 Litres/ Ha
Soak the seed potatoes into the solution before planting.
Apply a second application at tuber initiation
    (approximately 80% emergence).
    Repeat application 10-14 days later.
    Ornamentals 750ml - 1500ml / 100 Litres of water
    150ml - 300ml/ 20 Litres of water
Apply as full cover spray at 7 to 14 days intervals
    throughout the growing season.
Avocado and Mango 3 Litres / Ha Apply two sprays:
    1. Early flowering, and
    2. At flower petal drop, before lignification of flower trusses.
All before sprays can be of positioned with calcium (Ca) sprays.
Small Grains 2 Litres / Ha Apply at 1-2 node development.
Benefits and advantages of applying Oxin
    🌱 1. Accelerates Root Development

Oxin promotes vigorous root growth, helping plants establish quickly and access deeper soil nutrients. This is particularly beneficial in Kenya’s semi-arid regions like Machakos, Kajiado, and Turkana, where water retention is critical for plant survival.

🌿 2. Enhances Nutrient Uptake and Soil Health

By stimulating root exudation, Oxin encourages beneficial soil microbes that break down organic matter and make nutrients more available to plants. This ensures better uptake of essential minerals like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, even in nutrient-depleted soils.

β˜€ 3. Increases Drought and Heat Tolerance

Plants treated with Oxin develop thicker cell walls and more efficient stomatal regulation, reducing water loss during dry spells. This makes it ideal for use in regions experiencing erratic rainfall, such as Makueni, Kitui, and Isiolo.

🌺 4. Boosts Flowering and Fruit Set

The cytokinins in Oxin help delay senescence (aging) in plants, leading to prolonged flowering and improved fruit retention. This is crucial for crops like tomatoes, avocados, and mangoes, which require consistent flowering cycles for higher yields.

πŸ›‘ 5. Strengthens Disease and Pest Resistance

Oxin activates plant defense mechanisms, making crops less susceptible to fungal and bacterial infections. It also reduces insect damage by improving leaf cuticle thickness and plant resilience, which is beneficial for high-value crops like roses, tea, and macadamia.

πŸƒ 6. Improves Overall Plant Vigor and Crop Quality

Regular applications of Oxin lead to lush, dark green foliage, sturdier stems, and healthier fruits and vegetables with better post-harvest shelf life. This ensures higher market value for farmers growing export-quality produce such as French beans, capsicum, and strawberries.

🌎 7. Supports Sustainable and Organic Farming Practices

Oxin is a natural, environmentally friendly biostimulant that reduces reliance on synthetic fertilizers and chemicals. Its ability to enhance soil microbial activity and organic matter decomposition aligns with regenerative agricultural practices.
