Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local farmers, growers, and clients through regular visits and communication.
  2. Promote and sell our wide range of floriculture products, providing tailored recommendations to meet client needs.
  3. Provide expert advice on floriculture practices, including plant care, pest management, and sustainable farming techniques.
  4. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, expanding our customer base and market reach.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  7. Conduct and monitor trials of new products, compiling detailed reports and filing them accordingly.
  8. Keep accurate records of sales, client interactions, product trials, and inventory management.
  9. Assist in the development of training materials and provide training to new staff and clients on product usage and best practices.
  10. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our brand.
  11. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  1. Degree or diploma in Agronomy, Horticulture, Floriculture, or a related field.
  2. In-depth understanding of floriculture practices and the floriculture industry.
  3. Proven sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or floriculture sector.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  6. Friendly, confident, and approachable personality.
  7. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to farms and client locations.
