Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local farmers, growers, and clients through regular visits and communication.
- Promote and sell our wide range of floriculture products, providing tailored recommendations to meet client needs.
- Provide expert advice on floriculture practices, including plant care, pest management, and sustainable farming techniques.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, expanding our customer base and market reach.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and product offerings.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities.
- Conduct and monitor trials of new products, compiling detailed reports and filing them accordingly.
- Keep accurate records of sales, client interactions, product trials, and inventory management.
- Assist in the development of training materials and provide training to new staff and clients on product usage and best practices.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our brand.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Agronomy, Horticulture, Floriculture, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of floriculture practices and the floriculture industry.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in the agricultural or floriculture sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
- Friendly, confident, and approachable personality.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to farms and client locations.
