Asilee is a soil conditioner and a versatile fertilizer. It’s easy to apply, and works to restore your soil health!
About Asilee
The facts about our fertilizer and soil conditioner that contains 18 unique Ingredients.
- Asilee is certified by Ecocert for Organic Farming.
- It builds soil structure and water-holding capacity.
- It increases aeration.
- It improves nutrient availability and soil texture.
- It enhances the microbial activity in the soil resulting in increased soil fertility.
Once Asilee is incorporated into the soil, the decomposition process starts as soon as moisture is available.
This produces acids helping to regulate soil pH and electrical conductivity (EC). Carbon dioxide is released in the decomposition process creating a greenhouse-type effect beneficial for good root systems. Humic acid is generated and many polysaccharides are evolved leading to improved soil fertility. Organic matter in Asilee helps soil become spongey and porous, which leads to a healthy balance of moisture retention and drainage, as well as creating a structure that holds nutrients.
Fertilizer and Soil Conditioner
Asilee is easy to use and incorporate into the soil. There are various methods that can be used to apply Asillee but the main ones are by top-dressing, mixing it into a planting row and incorporating it into the planting hole. All these methods have their benefits and drawbacks but they are the best way to incorporate Asilee into your soil.
Top Dressing:
- When crops are out of the transplant stage and are beginning to produce leaves and grow more robust, It is the best time to apply Asilee. By this time the roots are strong and are able to take up nutrients more efficiently especially if you have incorporated Absorber and Earthlee into your soils.
- Establish a shallow basin around the plant and keep the topsoil on the side. You will use this later.
- Apply about 50g – 100g per plant spreading/ sprinkling Asilee around the base of the plant in the basin you created
- Cover the Asilee with topsoil to reduce runoff of the soil conditioner, once this is done water generously to activate Asilee.
- You can add Earthlee to your process to allow the locked nutrients to be released to the plants. Nhance is also a fantastic product to spur root development in crops that are post-germination and moving to the production stage.
Incorporating Asille into a Planting Row
- This is mainly done to large areas like vegetable gardens and orchard rows. Essentially you are looking for the versatility of being able to use any area of the planting bed for a large variety of crops.
- Dig up the area and loosen the soil. Establish the bed slightly raised above 3 inches.
- Incorporate Asilee by spreading it over the planting bed at about 50g – 100g per square meter for the length of the bed.
- You can use this opportunity to incorporate Absorber or Okoamaji as water retainers into the planting bed. Earthlee can also be incorporated into the planting bed at this time. Usually, 20g per square meter should be adequate for most planting beds.
- Mix thoroughly with the soil on the bed. Once this is done please water generously to activate Asilee.
Per Plant Application (Planting Hole Application)
- One of the ways Asilee can be applied is by taking, about 10 grams of the soil conditioner and fertilizer and putting it in the planting hole.
- At this point, you can also add a pinch of Earthlee which can unlock nutrients that are essential for germination.
- Once this is done add some topsoil into the hole and mix thoroughly.
- Once the mixing is done, add your preferred corp and plant it according to the plating guide specification.
- Finally, water generously to activate Asilee and Earthlee.
Termite and Ant Repellant
Asilee can be used as a termite/ant repellent on lawns especially. You would need to create a suspension of the Asilee product and pour this in the entrances of the ants and termite mounds.
- You need to take a 1kg Pack of Asilee and empty it into a bucket. Add 10 liters of water and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
- Sieve the Asilee over another bucket and collect the substrate.
- Use the substrate to pour into the holes or areas that you would like to repel termites and ants on your lawn.
- You can use the sieved Asilee and spread it over the area you watered.
- Safe for indoor use: Asilee is safe to use indoors to provide nutrients and food to plants. Spread Asilee at the bottom without having the worry of harming your kids or household pets.
- Earthworm friendly: While conventional chemical fertilizers can harm earthworms, Asilee on the other hand, has the opposite effect by encouraging earthworm activity.
- Asilee does NOT pollute your water: Because Asilee is biodegradable and non-toxic, it will not pollute groundwater or cause toxic runoff into streams and nearby bodies of water. You can use it with total peace of mind.
- A rich source of Organic Carbon: – Turmeric, Mangium, Marigold, and Ginger provide a rich source of organic carbon, crucial for the survival of beneficial micro-organisms.
- Versatile fertilizer and soil conditioner and effective on some insects and pests: Neem and Marigold Extracts provide rich sources of nitrogen and have repellant traits that will ward off some insects.
- Sustainable and environment-friendly: Asilee is biodegradable, environment-friendly, and ecologically safe. It has very low toxicity and is not known to harm beneficial insects.
- Bee-friendly: Asilee does not cause harm to bees.
- Rich Source of Protein – Sesame and Soya cold-pressed seed cakes provide a rich source of protein in Asilee
- Neem, Pongamia, Mahwah, Castor, Shea, Cashew, and Mustard provide a rich source of macronutrients crucial for structural support and cell growth, they also perform specific functions such as photosynthesis, and water regulation.
- Restores and Improves your soil: Due to the high Carbon / Nitrogen ratio that ASILEE provides, the availability and uptake of N, P, K, and micronutrients are enhanced. This in turn improves the humus content of the soil leading to better soil fertility. Over time, continuous ASILEE application can help revive dead soils, and improve soil texture and structure. When the texture and structure of soils improve, it eventually assists in improved drainage, aeration, and water-holding capacity of soils. This in turn enhances root growth ultimately leading to healthier and improved yields.
