The solution for long-term water sustainability and nutrient loss.
Absorber reduces your watering frequency by up to 50%! It also reduces leaching in heavy rainfall areas.
Absorber - long term water retainer that, when incorporated into a soil or a substrate, absorbs and retains large quantities of water and dissolved nutrients. Unlike most products that become hydrated, Absorber has the property of easily releasing the absorbed water and dissolved nutrients, thereby allowing the plant to have water and nutrients available, Typically this is able to reduce irrigation frequency by up to 50%.

About Absorber
The facts about our long-term Water Retainer.
- Absorber – long term water retainer for your shamba, trees, or lawns.
- Absorber needs to be applied before you plant your trees, crops, or lawns. It is advised that it’s mixed in dry soil or potting soil.
- You just need 1-100 grams (depending on the crop) of Absorber per planting hole and make sure you mix it thoroughly in the soil for even distribution.
- Absorber will prevent the leaching of nutrients as it can absorb water and nutrients during heavy rains and release them later.
- Absorber starts degradation immediately at the rate of 10-15% per year. So maximum efficacy during the first year. Should have safely degraded completely over 5 years.
- The expansion and contraction of Absorber create pockets underground that allow rooting to happen more efficiently and robustly.
- Absorber is Non-Toxic, biodegradable, and safe for your soils.
- Absorber is a range of super-absorbent anionic polyacrylamide polymers. They are cross-linked copolymers of acrylamide and potassium acrylate that are water-insoluble. Absorber products have the property of absorbing up to 500 times their weight in distilled water and they become gels.
How Absorber Works
- The polymer consists of a set of polymeric chains that are parallel to each other and regularly linked to each other by cross-linking agents.
- This forms a network. When water comes into contact with one of these chains, it’s drawn into the molecule by osmosis.
- Water rapidly migrates into the interior of the polymer network where it is stored.
- As the soil dries out, the polymer releases up to 95% of the absorbed water into the soil.

Reasons to apply Absorber – Water/ Moisture Retainer in your process!
- An outstanding absorption capacity: In general, the finer the particle size of Absorber, the greater its absorption capacity and speed.
- A buffering effect on the availability of fertilizers: Absorber significantly reduces the leaching of fertilizers because they are stored in the granules as well as the moisture. The fertilizers are available to plants for a longer time due to a delayed effect on their release.
- The influence of salts: The presence of electrolytes in the aqueous medium significantly diminishes the absorption capacity of Absorber. This explains the fact that the water-holding capacity of Absorber in a substrate varies around 100-150 times its weight.
- The wilting point is delayed: Absorber makes it possible to increase the Water Holding Capacity of soils and to delay the wilting point. A sandy soil treated with 2 grams of Absorber per kg of soil holds water twice as long as untreated soil.
